my friend just sent me this link; cgi.ebay.com/A-Course-in...cmdZViewItem
does anybody here have the original manuscript?
"Approximately ~25% of the first five chapters was removed from the published version and completely omitted, other portions were moved around. Discussions of sex were deleted, death thoughts, basic psychology and famous psychologists, Cayce, a wonderful discussion on "The Possession Fallacy," and many other subjects that were decided not to be appropriate for the public edition."
i think this would be very interesting stuff to read..! does anybody know why they have later decided to leave it out?

Re: original manuscript
Sat, February 18, 2006 - 12:22 PMI own a copy of the UR Text.
It has never been published, it is the
unrevised manuscript and it is passed
from hand to hand.
I will point out that there is also the Thetford Edition,
which has been published and reads very differently
from the conventionally available ACIM.
One significant difference It begins with the Clarification
of Terms found in the Manual. Another difference is the
UR Text speaks of the Spiritual Eye, rather than the
Holy Spirit. One problem with the UR text is that you'd
really have to be a scholar to corelate the texts because
the order of paragraphs and placement is dramatically
different from version to version. But in many cases it's
really worth it because the earlier versions, IMHO, provide
a more open-ended, lighthearted, flexible flavor. -

Tue, June 6, 2006 - 7:52 PMYes, I'm interested as well. I love the Course, it becomes more and more important to me all the time (going back 20 years now). If anyone has a connection for getting a copy of the original manuscript I would be deeply grateful. -
