I noticed that ACIM is really aimed at people stuck in the judeo-christian religions and who also tend to have a very busy mind that needs to intellectualize everything. Have fun on your journey. Groups are of varied quality in terms of their willingness to go deep to the heart of the issues. I had quite a few incredible things happen over the last couple of months and started meditating again. Then it came that I should find my ACIM book and open it up. I haven't found a group that meets in person (yet) and have a question about lessons 1, 2, and 3. It seems from reading it that the intent is to release attachment and expectations from everything in the material world. I am curious if it is really that simple or if I am missing something. Any and all insight is appreciated.
