In Vancouver, BC..... www.globalclarity.org
The Breakthrough is a Weekend Workshop based on the principles of A Course In Miracles, Gurdjieff Work, The Enneagram and other teachings from the perennial wisdom traditions. The Breakthrough Weekend is a powerful experience that focuses on the themes of Conscious (healed) Relationships and the Power of the Present Moment.
In order to begin experiencing our capacity for conscious relating and truly living in the Now, we need to honestly face the blocks of our egos. To do this, we need to honestly face the ego itself. All spiritual growth and personal transformation begins with this essential step.
As we "face into" our egos, we begin the process of healing and awakening that is central to the teachings of A Course In Miracles. In order to do this, we must be able to understand the dynamics of reaction, projection, perception, judgment, and distorted communication, and how all of these work to create problems in our relationships and in our ability to hinder our experience of the Present Moment.
If you have made a serious commitment to your spiritual growth and development, then the Breakthrough is the perfect kick start to your path

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Fri, December 23, 2005 - 7:07 PMHi Bruce
Thanks for the information on the ACIM Intensive. I was actually going to recommend Peak Potentials to you because I had noticed that they were looking for trainers. Guess you alredy found your way to them!! My partner and I just finished MMI and are signed up for Quantum. Perhaps we will meet in person some day!
Our MMI was with David Wood. Incredible guy. Great information! Which Peak Potentials do you do?
Light to you! Carrie -

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Fri, December 23, 2005 - 8:06 PMyes been involved with Peak for almost 8 years..... Level II Trainer
The Global Clarity work is rather different.... I like a lot of Peak's stuff.... Harv's Train the Trainer is the best course in my books.... Warrior and Wizard are good too (I designed the t-shirts....)
There are certain levels that they never get to in terms of our levels of spirituality, worthiness, self-acceptance and love that always felt like a part that missing and what really blocks people from success. (whatever that means).
As their seminars got so big it lost a lot of the intimacy that I experienced when the groups were smaller.....
And I recommend their work to many people still..... -

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Sat, December 24, 2005 - 8:59 AMWell, I have done a ton of delving into self. I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of what my wounds are after so many years of self-study, workshops, healings, etc...
My big thing now is money. I am ready to have it! I am ready to succeed financially on my own. I feel like a lot of the courses I have taken that delve into self, love, etc.. don't focus on finances and I have found many people in those circles to have wounds around money.
However, forking over this huge amount of money for Quantum is a little scary. But, I feel like it is the level of commitment I need to make to move in the right direction.
It is interesting that I found you the week before our tuition is due. I am just wondering if that money (we would spend on Quantum) would be better invested, etc..
Does this Global Clarity focus on money issues? I am interested.

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Sat, December 24, 2005 - 9:54 AMIt's never about the money... as I'm sure you are aware, money is just an external reflection of our inner 'game' just like any other material stuff.
We don't focus on the external, our work is focused on relationships (all of them) and our 'ego-mind' (the part of us that forgot who we are)
We look at the deepest core beliefs, because to change anything we need to dig deep into the darkest corners of our minds and flesh out the limiting thoughts, beliefs and resentments. A purification in a way. ESPECIALLY our relationships, past and present and what we believed about the other person and ourself.
When we clean out the old beliefs, then we can move forward and create absolutely anything we want/desire. The difference is, there's a new file folder to put it into.
For many [most in my view], we reject success because we don't know what to do with it when we get it, not unlike a dog chasing a car. We spend our whole lives chasing after "it". We haven't changed our core programming to allow the good things that are around us all the time.
The bottom line is our participants experience and deep level of who they are without everything they think they are. It's very, very intense, provacative and challenges our every belief, even the ones we don't ever want to let go of. It's not for everyone as this requires a deep commitment to changing our beliefs.
We don't just challenge the mind, we open up the whole energy body using dynamic meditation, breath work, dyads, expression, radical honesty and we use the teachings of A Course in Miracles as a framework. {Most Course students would be shocked at how we apply the written teachings experientially}
Trust your heart, you already know what you path is, trust that.
Harv is a Master at enrolling people, especially during a seminar when everyone is all stoked... they have a fairly high level of buyers remorse, and a lot of people enjoy his work, I can't say I know anyone who got rich from it.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday and New Year!

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Sat, December 24, 2005 - 11:07 AMWould be willing to have a conversation about this? It is easy to say it is not about the money, when you have it. For me, right now, it is about the money. I feel pretty balanced in other aspects of my life.
It seems like Global Clarity really focuses on ACIM. I like the Course, but it is not a strong pull for me. I am more in alignment with the Teachings of Abraham (Jerry and Esther Hicks) We get what we focus on. We get what our dominant vibration is.
ACIM seems a bit heady to me at times. And has a biblical aspect to it that I am not passionate about.

Re: ACIM Intensive Weekend in Vancouver
Sat, December 24, 2005 - 12:00 PMWould love to chat.......
Yes the Christian languaging of the Course is a big hurdle for many, myself included.....
I used to own a new age and metaphysical bookstore and at the time "Conversations with God" was the overwhelming best-seller and yet I couldn't get past the title for months even as my clients were and staff were screaming at me to read the book. Well one day, on a quiet morning Isat and stared at the book piled up in stacks by the dozen and this voice inside said "Read the Book, Just the First Page..." So I walked over, picked it up and opened to the first page with total resistance to the "God" thing.
That was 1996 and I still read the books, attended many seminars with neale the author, and they still speak to me now as much as they did back then. ACIM never had that deep affect on me that CWG had and does, I compare it to a text bok vs. a wonderful biography.
What I appreciate about the Course is the structure it provides. I did the daily lessons several times, made it as far as Lesson 286 (that's 286 consecutive days without a break)
So I hear you around the heady pat of the course, for me it's seeing underneath it and getting what it's saying which is the same Truth as most other profound spiritual truths. ACIM is a mind/thought teaching.
In our work we incorporate many other teachings as well, including several eastern teachings. We use several of Osho's active meditations as well, which I really enjoy as it gets me out of my head so quickly.
I especially enjoy the story of how the Course came to be and Helen Shucman's life journey with it.
So lets connect after the New year when things settle down a notch or two....
