Self-Actualization Training: "SAT I"

A six-month intensive program based on the principles of A Course In Miracles, as well as additional teachings from Eastern spirituality and group processing. This Program is in-depth training designed to help the student truly confront the blocks in their minds, which prevent them from experiencing deeper levels of aliveness, clarity, and love in their lives.


This is not a light or feel-good course, but is one where we will be committed to face our egos honestly and breakthrough into deeper and fuller states of aliveness, clarity, truth, and love. When the ego is faced and we take responsibility for it, empowerment is the result, which leads to liberation from old patterns. The challenging nature of this is both passionate and involved work intended for those ready for a strong forward push on their life journey. The SAT Program is appropriate for both beginner and advanced seekers on their spiritual path.

Program Schedule -- Begins on Sat., November 19th, and ends Tuesday, May 16th with an average of three Saturdays a month 10-6p.m. and every Tuesday night from 7-11p.m.

Phil Teertha Mistlberger has been a transpersonal therapist, group leader, and spiritual teacher for close to twenty years. He was born in Montreal and was educated at John Abbott College and Concordia University. He is the author of the book "A Natural Awakening: Realizing the True Self in Everyday Life". He trained in an "A Course In Miracles" community from 1986-88, graduating from two 6-month programs and receiving certification as an ACIM practitioner in 1988. He also spent a year in a Gurdjieff group, seven years with the East Indian mystic Osho, and has received Tibetan Buddhist empowerments. In 1993 along with Duane O’Kane, he co-founded Clearmind Institute and was co-director for its first 18 months. In 1994, he founded Shamballa Trainings, a personal growth school based on a variety of spiritual teachings that he directed for seven years. >From 2002 to 2004, he taught Advaita Vedanta via formal satsang meetings that he hosted in Canada and the U.S. P

Sadaya Jaret began her spiritual path in the 70’s. Her background includes several six-month programs such as Apprenticeship, Teacher, and Leadership studies with Shamballa Trainings as well as a Practitioner’s Certification in ACIM with Clearmind Institute. Sadaya created, led and supported workshops for all ages including the coordination of Vancouver Satsangs in 1997& 98 with Hanuman, a teacher in the lineage of H.W.L. Poonja.

Sadaya has been asked to give Satsang after her study of Advaita Vedanta and has received the empowerment of the Medicine Buddha by a Tibetan Lama. She holds her second level Reiki and is trained in intuitive and deep tissue massage

Sadaya is an honors graduate with a Baccalaureate in Integrated Leadership Studies from Simon Fraser University where her professors lauded her research and philosophical perspective on issues of society’s subordinates and her writing on human self-actualization.
