When I first began studying The Course I had a problem with the Christian terms, so I put it down for awhile, and rediscovered it later. I'm wondering if anyone else had the same experience. Not to knock Christianity...
Eventually I came to a place of recognizing that my feelings about existence couldn't be threatened by terminology, and that ACIM isn't dogmatic. It uses words that are commonly understood.
Anyway, for me, God represents the consciousness behind existence. The force that creates galaxies and DNA and artists. For me, it's what sustains life and death and rebirth. A presence.
I was thinking we could go over some lessons.
Any thoughts?

Mon, April 18, 2005 - 12:25 PM"God has no secrets.
He does not lead you through a world of misery,
waiting to tell you, at the journey's end,
why He did this to you."
something to think about - from the Course. -
